Adam Anders, Behind the Music of Glee

Everyone knows Glee is so amazing because of the great music that comes from the show.  I know I've been featuring a lot about Glee on here, but this one is actually interesting, promise.  Anyway, why is this music such a smash hit?  What makes is so amazing?

You can thank Executive Music Producer, Adam Anders.

Anders is co-owner on Anders Music along with his wife, Nikki.  These two got their start with bands like the Backstreet Boys (Black and Blue, Greatest Hits and Unbreakable albums), Sheryl Crow, Ashley Tisdale, Ace of Base, Nick Lachey, Jesse McCartney ("Beautiful Soul") and so on.  Pretty much he's the real reigning King of Pop (besides Max Martin), whom puts a touch of sugar and spice on everything he comes into contact with.

Not to mention he wrote "Can I Have this Dance," the precious albeit cheesy ballad from High School Musical 3 AND "Hoedown Throwdown" from the Hannah Montana movie, a song that I can't get out of my head now as I write this sentence.

When it comes to teens, Mr. Anders knows what's up.  He's been the Executive Music Producer on the show since the beginning and frankly it needs to stay that way -- if it ain't broke, don't fix it.  I mean, who else can come up with the amazing mash-ups like "Livin' on a Prayer/Start Me Up," "Borderline/Open Your Heart," and that amazing arrangement of "Teenage Dream"?

So now you know why everyone goes nuts for the music on the show; they're all produced by a season pro.  Tip of the hat to you, Mr. Anders.
