God takes his time

This is going to be short and worth reading :)

For God did not give us a spirit of timidity (of cowardice, of craven and cringing and fawning fear), but [He has given us a spirit] of power and of love and of calm and well-balanced mind and discipline and self-control. 2 Tim 1:7

God takes his time on everything.  He took his precious time to make you as you are.  He takes his time opening doors you so desperately seek to walk through.  He takes his time teaching you that lesson you're not sure will ever be learned.  He is constantly thinking about you and how you're doing, how you're progressing and how to make your life as great as it can be.

But sometimes we don't get that.  We're impatient, needy and occasionally straight up wrong about what God's plan is for us.  God's intentions are always the best.  So even when you're wondering why you're going through turmoil, an emotional struggle or why maybe certain things in your life are just downright mundane and complacent, know it's all a part of the bigger picture.

So, simply put: don't resist what's happening in your life.  If God is sending you red flags, acknowledge them and act accordingly.  Don't worry yourself with things you cannot control; don't envy the life of others, don't get discouraged when life is not going to according to your plan.  God gives you everything you need.  But if you want something, you'll have to go get it by realizing that God has the best intentions for your life.

Timing is everything in God's eyes.  He uses time to our advantage.

Dear Lord,
Thank you for your divine timing.  I know I don't understand all of it yet, but I know that the best is yet to come.  Even when I think I've reached the top, you are bountiful and will provide me with blessings beyond my wildest dreams.  They will be worth the wait.
In Jesus name,

"The will of God will never take you where the Grace of God will not protect you."

The Lord is good, a Strength and Stronghold in the day of trouble; He knows (recognizes, has knowledge of, and understands) those who take refuge and trust in Him. Nahum 1:7
