I post my devotionals frequently on Instagram and I'm always asked what books they come from. So... here's what you've been asking for!
Starting Your Day Right, Joyce Meyer
Joyce has been a staple in my household for years, so when I saw Rihanna posting devotionals on her Insta, I knew it was Joyce. I followed suit by posting them on my account, since the messages were so powerful and I knew a ton of people didn't follow RiRi.
This devotional has been especially helpful at putting things in perspective and building/maintaining self confidence. Joyce is always the one who testifies about not letting your feelings and emotions take over your actions, which is an extremely helpful and encouraging reminder.
Purchase it hardback or through iBooks.

Grace For Each Moment: One-Minute Devotions (from Christian Art Gifts)
Mom slipped this into my Chloé purse that she has managed to fix for me (my water bottle almost demolished the leather) and I couldn't be happier. It's small, leather and easy to follow, but also comes in a larger hardback version.
So far, this one has helped me become better acquainted with scripture, helping me memorize different verses, and understanding how we should operate in a biblical sense. It describes why it's important and also goes into some history behind the verse as well. Plus, it only takes a minute!

Bedside Blessings, Charles R. Swindoll
I've had this one (another gift from Mom) for about two years, and I've run the thing ragged. No matter how many times I've read the devotion, it puts me at ease. This one has helped me during some truly difficult times and helps to guide my prayers at night.
It's nice to have something to read in the morning, in the middle of the day, and in this case, before bed.
Purchase it here. You can also download on your Kindle, Nook or iBooks.

Hope these help you like they've helped me. Let me know if there's a book your read that I need to check out!
